Art Journal Pages…

“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”—Joseph Campbell

When a cold and rainy day gives you nothing, sometimes it’s better to color your day the way you want! It was a cold and blustery day in the Studio Nookery, but it never stops me from creating.

What motivates you on blah days?

From my wildly passionate creative soul to yours in peace.

  1. I always enjoy seeing your pages so much. The color and movement here is so energizing!

I get going on blah by doing non-project stuff, at least at first. I do some free writing in my journal rather than work on a story or article. Or I glue a few magazine clippings into my visual journal. Or sometimes I color. Anything to get me moving but without the emotional attachment of an actual, longer-term project.

  5. We had blustery cool weather with some rain here in Los Angeles this weekend. So rare! But I love it and I feel I'm more inspired on days like this. Coffee in the am, tea in the afternoon, glass of wine in the evening, art supplies, good music and I'm in the zone! Oh, yea and a few yummy snacks! LOL

  6. Wow, Claudia I’ve never been in LA when it’s been blustery! I like how you think and get your art on! :)
