When it’s winter, we wish for spring, when spring comes, we long for hot beach weather…we are never satisfied! (Me included)
Each year we try to predict, what the weather will do, how soon a season will come, when one will end…of late, we been way off course.
(“Woods” – Oil/Canvas)
Why?
Hmm…I think nature is doing its own thing, keeping us guessing. It’s only so much dumping on, nature can take, before it lets us know who’s boss and then we’re all swept up in its force! So for now, I’m just living in the present, enjoying one moment at a time, each rain drop, each sliver of sun light, just being still…
Stop getting swept away in the madness of prediction, stop and breathe in this wonderful present moment.
In peace to you and yours.

Quietly asleep…under moonlight…
I love waking up, when the ribbons of light from the sun, are just beginning to streak across the sky. Nature is wide awake with bird songs and crickets, and many humans are still asleep.
Nature has the most beautiful way of putting us to sleep and waking us up. The beginning and the end…the alpha and the omega…
Peace to you and yours.

When I visited “The Grand Canyon”, I came away with many perspectives, this image was one of many. I’m sure I will be painting many of the perspectives I gained from this vast beauty!
The Grand Canyon is a Queen. It’s all beautiful from this perspective!
Go out and investigate nature (with people in it…or not! :)
Dictionary.com defines the word “perspective” in (7) ways, I chose the following definitions to describe my image viewpoint:
a technique of depicting volumes and spatial relationships
on a flat surface;
a visible scene, esp. one extending to a distance;
the state of existing in space before the eye;
the state of one’s ideas, the facts known to one, etc.
a mental view or prospect.
Have a peaceful week.
 P.S. Here is the work in progress:

Daily, I toil in a part of nature’s paradise. I look out of my office window and see three enormous redwood trees. They form a semi-circle around a little rickety bench.
There are days, when I sit on that bench, near these luscious beauties, which I have named “the three sisters”. Wondering often, if they could speak, what infinite wisdom would they share.
They are infinitely magical to me, changing the lines of their bark to peer at me in all kinds of shapes, color and forms. But, no matter the transformation of these “sisters”, they always appear as women, whispering to me, daring me to discover their infinite wisdom.
But, I cannot… all I can do in my mere attempts, is to sit in their beauty and try to capture a fleeting glance, a colorful whisper, a dancing tone…knowing their infinite magic will outlive mine.
This week, in stillness, I try to capture the infinity of nature and peace…let’s all meet there in that infinity. Peace
