I cannot believe that today is the last day of 2012. The expression “the days are long, but the years are short” speak volumes to me!
2012 Review So many bloggers are doing their year-end reviews and posting the highlights of the year, which is great. But, I’ve posted my highlights during the year (if you’re interested, you can look through the blog posts for 2012). I’ve accomplished a lot and fulfilled many of the goals I set at the beginning of 2012. I’ve recorded my highlights in my blog posts and in my journals. So here is a snap shot of my daily accomplishments for 2012!
For 2013, I know that I want to soar, to fly beyond what I’ve done in 2012. So the word that will guide me in my 2013 is “Commitment”. Yes, I’ve been committed in the past, but this year it will be chosen commitments as opposed to obligatory commitments that my intent is focused on. So as January unfolds I will talk more about my “Commitment” for 2013. I am very proud of the fact that I had the courage to be present in a daily sense in 2012, and my journals are the end product of my daily highs and lows. The healing power of art journaling was and continues to be an amazing process that I enjoy daily. It has been a great stress reliever!
Some of the things that I will be committed to for my blog will be more resources on information about art journaling and workshops and new paintings, and featuring interviews with inspiring mixed-media artists, too!
So Hello 2013, I’m waiting for you…
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
