A “creative block” is the inability to access one’s flowing stream of inspiration and creativity. What was once an overflowing well of ideas may now feel like an endless drought. It can last for days, months, or even years at a time. My creative blocks allowed for small little bits of time where I felt creative, this is what came out of those bouts of creativity during my blocked time! For anyone who has experience the loss of inspiration or creativity, remember to show up and creativity will crack through!
This is a mixed media piece, on a 4″ x 4″ canvas. The wood is layered with acrylic paint, pendant, metal, resin, vintage and handmade paper, fabric, ink, buttons, feathers, cardstock and quote (piece is varnished for protection, signed and dated on the back.)
