As I worked on this palette more, I felt unsettled and wasn’t comfortable. I kept reaching for bright colors and telling myself “No”; since I was known for working with bright and vivid colors and maybe I was crazy to think I could pull this off! Finding this rusted hinge had great meaning to me at the time.
