I try to capture my dreams in my paintings. This painting was based on my dreams about eagles. There are many cultures that have myths and legends where animals are the main characters or play an important role in teaching important life lessons.
The eagle is a part of my “Animal Totem” Series. Animal Totem characteristics for Eagles are strong willed, and graceful. People with an Eagle totem are said to be great observers, have great intuition and creativity. They try to bring things together, better them through creative actions and are said to bring souls back to dream time.
This is an 8″ x 10″ (on 8.5 x 11 inch paper) print of my original painting. This print is matted and ready to be framed. The original piece is a 24″ x 18″ mixed media painting on rag cotton illustration board.
