Made from canvas, acrylic paint, markers, charcoal, acrylic gel, varnish, handmade archival papers, and tissue paper.
As I build upon my theme of repose, I take the concept of universal womanhood to a deeper spiritual level. The paintings serve as a reflection of each woman’s divine spark and honor unique differences as well as commonalities. They are an intensive exploration of the belief that all women are daughters of divinity regardless of color, race, or ethnicity. This original painting is a 5″ x 5″ x 1.5″ inch little beauty of a feminine nature spirit in repose. This painting was done with tissue paper, archival paper, acrylic paints, and markers. An acrylic gel medium was then added, that acts as a scratch barrier, the painting is then finished with a gloss non-removable varnish. It hangs easily on the wall with a nail and would look fabulous in any room, even your office. It is small enough to go anywhere you do! This painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
